Daylight Saving Time

When should we change our clocks?

In 2005 an adjustment in how we deal with Daylight Saving Time was enacted by Congress.  We now "spring" forward the second Sunday in March and "fall" back on the first Sunday of November.  This new schedule began in 2007.  No you didn’t miss your "extra" hour of sleep this past weekend.  You will get it this weekend.  So, before you fall asleep on Saturday night (or as sometimes is recommended at 2:00 am on Sunday) turn your clocks back one hour.  Daylight Saving Time starts on Sunday, November 4th.  Enjoy the extra hour of sleep.  Another thing that we recommend is to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
