Today’s Sellers more than any time in my career the need the assistance of an experienced Broker. In a reasonable market simple hard work can sell properties. In a market place like we have now it takes not only tons of hard work but also a great deal of knowing what really works. I am amazed at how the Old techniques that worked well in the high interest rate (19%) market of the early 80’s are getting results in today’s market place when you tune them up just a little for the current market.

I recently applied one of these techniques to a home that has been on the market for a little over 90 days and got more showing in the next 14 days than we had gotten in the previous 90 days. In fact I am finding that the Seller’s that are working with these techniques are the ones that are getting results.

A Seller would be smart to seek the counsel of an experienced Broker who has gone through the difficult markets. They had the opportunity to learn what it takes to create activity when others are doing next to nothing.
